* Built to hold a maximum load of 200 lbs, it is strong enough to suspend your dehumidifier under the floor joists and get elevate it off the ground. 
* Elevating your dehumidifier can allow for more slope on your condensate line if you are gravity draining it. 
* It also can allow the unit can be centrally located vertically to allow for better airflow.
