The CA Series of metalized polypropylene film capacitors are designed for continuous duty with compressors and motors in high volume Appliance and HVAC/Refrigeration applications.
These compact, low dissipation factor capacitors are typically connected to the auxiliary winding of single-phase (AC) induction motors to improve power factor and running torque. Configured in an explosion proof, oil-filled can these products are designed for many years of maintenance free operation.
Features:
1/4" Six blade quick disconnect terminal with phenolic insulated caps.
Round can: 4" (H) x 2" (Dia) x (4-1/2" Height including terminals)
Epoxy-sealed terminals
Integral mounting flange
Oil-filled construction (NO PCB's)
Integral pressure interrupter
Corrosion resistant aluminum housing
Explosion-Proof Safety Feature
Temperature: -40 deg C to 70 deg C
