The transmission line of a signal can build up static electricity that increases your chance of a lightning strike. The grounding block will discharge this electrical build up in the line. We recommend that you ground the coaxial cable right before it enters the building.
This grounding block is suitable for satellite, cable, off-air, internet or any other coaxial cable signal.
This unit is power passive. For use with a ground rod (not included)
Grounding hole accepts up to 6 AWG wire
Weather resistant with alloy die-cast housing and anitcorrosion overcoat
Cast-in F connector ports
